Checkers Beyond the Veil · Every Capture Has a Cost
How to Play
- Graveleap uses American checkers rules. Bone moves first. Ordinary pieces move one dark square diagonally toward the far side; crowned kings move either way.
- Captures are mandatory. Leap over an opposing piece into the empty square beyond it. If the same piece can capture again, you must finish the entire chain.
- Reaching the far row crowns a piece and ends that turn. Its new king powers begin on the next turn.
- Win by taking every opposing piece or leaving the opponent without a legal move. Three repeated positions or forty turns without a capture or crown end in a draw.
- Challenge the Dead offers five opponents. Share the Crossing is pass-and-play. Send a Summons creates a six-character code for another device.
- Beat a dead challenger with a committed keeper name to join the board below. No name, no post.
