Last updated: April 12, 2026. This notice explains what information Cryptic Conclave may collect, what may be shown publicly, and what you agree to when you use the website, support the project, or log in to one of our game servers.

What We Collect

Depending on how you interact with Cryptic Conclave, we may collect website usage information, community and supporter details, and gameplay or server activity data.

  • Website analytics, such as page visits, clicks, referring pages, and similar technical usage data generated when you use the site.
  • Game server and tracker data, such as display names, platform identifiers, connection or authentication events, online status, realm activity, session history, deaths, and other gameplay events needed to operate server status and leaderboard features.
  • Public profile metadata pulled into community features where available, such as a public display name or Steam profile details used for tracker-backed community pages.
  • Supporter information we receive through Buy Me a Coffee or similar community support tools, such as supporter names, contribution history, and membership status made available to us through those services.
  • Messages, submissions, or media you voluntarily send to us through Discord, support channels, gallery submissions, or other community features.

Where Information Comes From

  • Directly from you when you use the website, contact us, support the project, submit content, or log in to a server.
  • Automatically from your browser or device when the website loads and analytics or technical logs are generated.
  • From game servers, server management tools, and the tracker systems used to operate status pages, recent activity, and leaderboard features.
  • From third-party platforms you choose to use in connection with the community, such as Discord, Buy Me a Coffee, and public game-platform profile services.
  • From publicly available profile information where used to identify players more accurately in tracker-backed community features.

What We Share Publicly

Some information is intentionally public because the site includes community-facing status, history, and supporter features.

  • Realm and server status pages may show whether a server is online, its player count, and related live status information.
  • Leaderboard and tracker-backed pages may display player names, online indicators, favorite or current realm context, playtime totals, session counts, longest sessions, deaths, last seen times, and recent tracked activity.
  • Supporter pages may show supporter names, memberships, contribution history, or hall-of-fame style community recognition when that information is available to us for display.
  • News posts, gallery items, or other community content you submit for publication may become publicly visible on the website or related community channels.

Information that is published on public pages may be seen, copied, archived, or shared by other people outside our control.

What We Do Not Sell Or Share

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with any other party for that party's own marketing, advertising, profiling, or independent commercial use.

We may still disclose limited information when needed to operate Cryptic Conclave, provide services you request, display information you knowingly make public through the community, use third-party platforms connected to the service, protect the site or servers, enforce rules, or comply with law, legal process, or valid government requests.

How We Use Information

  • To operate the website, Discord community, and game servers.
  • To show live realm status, community activity, and leaderboard features.
  • To moderate the community, investigate abuse, enforce rules, and protect the servers and members.
  • To recognize supporters, improve the site, and understand which pages or features are being used.
  • To maintain continuity of server and community history across rotations, wipes, or game changes.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we may rely on your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the community, the need to provide requested services or features, and compliance with legal obligations.

Consent By Using Our Services

By using this website or logging into any Cryptic Conclave game server, you consent to the collection, use, storage, and public display of relevant information described in this notice.

That includes server and tracker data created when you authenticate, connect, chat through supported services, appear online, trigger gameplay events, or otherwise participate in the community. If you do not agree, do not use the website or log in to the servers.

Third-Party Services

Cryptic Conclave relies on third-party services to run parts of the community experience. Those services may process your information under their own terms and privacy policies.

  • Discord for community chat, server access, and widgets.
  • Buy Me a Coffee for supporter memberships and contribution processing.
  • Analytics tooling for website traffic and event measurement.
  • Game platform and profile providers, such as Steam-related services, where public profile information is used in tracker-backed community features.

When you leave this website, use an embedded third-party feature, or interact with those outside services, their own terms, privacy notices, and data-handling practices may also apply.

Retention, Safety, and Legal Use

  • We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the community, maintain history, troubleshoot problems, moderate abuse, or comply with legal obligations.
  • Some raw logs or tracker events may be pruned over time, while normalized statistics, public history, or moderation records may be kept longer.
  • We do not promise absolute security, but we limit use of collected information to operating and protecting Cryptic Conclave and related community features.
  • We may preserve, review, or disclose information when reasonably necessary to enforce our rules, respond to legal requests, protect rights or safety, or investigate fraud, abuse, or server misuse.
  • We do not sell personal information.

Your Rights And Requests

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to request access to personal information, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of certain information, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.

Those rights are not absolute. We may need to keep certain logs, public gameplay history, moderation records, backups, security records, aggregated statistics, or other information where retention is reasonably necessary for operating the community, preventing abuse, resolving disputes, or complying with law.

To make a privacy-related request, email [email protected]. Please include enough identifying information for us to reasonably verify your identity and locate the relevant records, such as your Steam profile name, Discord username, server name, supporter name, or other details connected to your use of Cryptic Conclave. We may request additional information if reasonably necessary to confirm identity, clarify the request, protect other users' information, or match your request to the correct records. If we cannot reasonably verify your identity or do not have enough information to locate the relevant data, we may be unable to fulfill the request in whole or in part. If applicable law gives you the right to complain to a privacy or data protection regulator, you may also do so. We encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] so we have an opportunity to review and, where appropriate, address your concern directly.

Changes and Contact

We may update this notice as the website, tracker, supporter tools, or community features evolve. Continued use of the website or servers after changes means the updated notice applies.

If you need to ask about this notice, request a correction, or raise a privacy concern, email [email protected]. To help us respond, include enough identifying information for us to reasonably match your request to the correct records, such as your Steam profile name, Discord username, server name, supporter name, or other relevant details. Additional information may be requested where reasonably necessary.
