Ban Us is based on a real Cryptic Conclave server incident on June 15, 2026. Players were being asked to join the Discord to play on the server; talking in chat was optional. One player turned that request into an ultimatum, claimed to have brought half the players, and asked, “What are you gonna do, ban us?” The owner answered “yes.” After the argument continued, the ban notice followed with the reason “Sounds good.”
The aftermath matters too: a quiet builder caught in the fallout was offered a way back, provided there was no griefing. The Branshrug sticker appeared in the original exchange; according to the owner, the community later adopted it as a meme. Roxy’s video dramatizes the incident with condensed dialogue and anonymous stand-ins. The joke is the ultimatum, while the door stays open to quiet players.
