Behind the song

Midnight Raid began with a what-if: what would happen if the Cryptic Conclave community played World of Warcraft together? The anime video casts familiar community personalities in an invented late-night raid, complete with missed ready checks, chaotic comms, and one more pull.

The raid and its mishaps are fictional. The lyrics exaggerate the group’s inside jokes into an ensemble adventure; they are not a record of members actually arriving late, drinking through a fight, or falling asleep. It is Roxy’s imagined version of the Conclave taking on a raid together.
